Volunteer training takes place next Saturday Jan 18th, please come along, all welcome! Pegasus Riding Academy is a therapeutic riding program providing equine assisted activities for individuals in Savannah with physical, mental or emotional disabilities. Winter session is starting January 27th and volunteers are needed to assist these special children. Experience with horses not required. Volunteer orientation will be 10:30 A.M. on January 18th, 2014 at Wicklow Farms, behind Johnny Harris on Victory Drive. Training should last approximately two hours. This training is mandatory in accordance with PATH, Intl. procedures. You will learn the specifics of certain areas you can volunteer in, as well as information about the riders we will serve. Classes will begin the week of January 27th and run through the first week of March. You can volunteer either for Monday or Wednesday afternoon classes.
