These sessions are open for Registration but space is limited – KIDS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN!
Pegasus Riding Academy is a therapeutic riding program providing equine assisted activities for individuals in Savannah with physical, mental or emotional disabilities. Summers at PRA consist of equestrian instruction, ground lessons with horses and art projects uniquely designed to complement the equestrian aspect of our program. The riding, combined with other characteristics of the weekly session, will develop balance and coordination while building mental concentration, self-esteem and social skills. As part of the SUMMER RESPITE PROGRAM able bodied siblings will be allowed to attend with our special needs riders. This program of inclusion provides the caregiver with a true RESPITE. Ask us for details. All sessions are conducted by Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors. Come join us for a wonderful summer filled with these week-long sessions sharing fun, knowledge, & empowerment. Summer Adventure Sessions (each lasting one week) will run Monday thru Friday from 9:00 until Noon.

The Signup forms also contain details of age and weight limitations as well as contraindications that might prevent someone from being accepted for riding.
